However, each example sentence will have its English translation underneath. And you can translate the sentences.
But the most important thing is that you focus on listening and being able to identify the sequence of sounds, and the sounds that change and vanish, understanding what they mean or not.
So, basic level A2 is recommended to get the most out of this course.
